Start-up Universality has developed a platform connecting lecturers, students and companies. Employers have the opportunity to report issues that may be part of university classes. At the same time, students who solve specific tasks within them, get to know potential employers in the industry, while building their practical resume. Studying young programmers, thanks to the Universality educational platform, already during their studies open paths for later career and development - not theoretically but in a very practical way - related to market needs. Interest in the platform is expressed by most universities with IT departments in Poland, among companies interested in the solution are giants like Microsoft, as well as young ambitious IT companies, tempting students to participate in interesting, original projects. The inventor and head of Universality is Jerzy Czepiel, owner of an IT company and former lecturer at the Jagiellonian University.

DEVELOPMENT OF AN INNOVATIVE, COMPREHENSIVE TOOL FOR LARYNGOLOGICAL AND PHONIATRIC DIAGNOSTICS
The development of an innovative, comprehensive tool for ENT and phoniatric diagnostics is a project implemented by Diagnova Technologies Sp. z o. o. During the implementation of the project, industrial research and development works were carried out, which led to the creation of product innovation - a comprehensive tool for ENT and phoniatric diagnostics, together with the development of a methodology for analyzing the obtained data. This innovative product is currently used in endoscopic oncological and functional tests of the larynx. It is gradually implemented in clinical centers and hospitals, and in the future also in outpatient clinics and private medical practices. Obtained diagnostic data enable conducting research at a level not yet achievable in Poland and support the development of medicine in the field of ENT and phoniatrics.

"Collective disaster simulator - research and preparation for implementation" is a project carried out by Nano Games sp. Z o. o. As a result of work, a prototype of a professional simulator was created, which will enable training of rescue services in dealing with psychologically difficult situations. The main goal of the project was to answer the question of what level of mapping the real situations is necessary to achieve real psychological states of rescuers during the training.

Symptoms associated with inflammation of the upper respiratory tract are the most common reason for referring patients to a GP. The upper respiratory tract is a kind of gate for bronchial and lung infections, which causes the possibility of developing serious health and life complications, even with minor infections. SensDx SA, as part of the project, conducted research and development work on the creation of the MULTISENSOR prototype - an innovative micro sensor for bacterial or viral differentiation of the upper respiratory tract infection.

Warsaw University of Technology is the author of the NERW PW SCIENCE - EDUCATION - DEVELOPMENT - COOPERATION project. Its purpose is to improve the quality of functioning of the Warsaw University of Technology both in the field of education and management, and to adapt the university's didactic offer to the needs of the labor market, by implementing a comprehensive program of activities for the student-oriented education. The project implementation will contribute to the development of education using practical elements of teaching combined with scientific research. The project will use, among others international profiled to increase the effectiveness of cooperation and focusing on the practical aspect. A number of actions will be proposed to increase staff competence and organizational changes at the Warsaw University of Technology.

DrOmnibus Sp. z o. o., implemented a project that resulted in tablet technology that supports the therapy of early school age children with behavioral and development disorders, such as autism, Down Syndrome or cerebral palsy. The technology proved to be extremely effective for children with autism and intellectual disability (confirmed by university research). The application contains therapeutic tasks in the form of games, developing the child's skills and a system that allows diagnosing the child's skill development level, monitoring the progress. It allows for non-invasive and secure collection of information about the state of health between the therapist and the parent and inside the therapeutic center - between therapists, psychologists and educators working with the child.

The goal of the project implemented by PolTREG Sp z o. o. is to improve the process of multiplication of regulatory T cells (Treg) by conducting industrial research and development works, which results in process innovation on a global scale. During the project implementation, the process of production of vaccines by PolTREG for the treatment of type 1 diabetes was improved by designing a line using a bioreactor (the first use in cell therapy for DM1 in the world).

Musicon is both an instrument and a toy, a mechanical device and a laboratory, allowing children to discover sound as an expression of expression appearing at the interface of the senses, intuition and mechanics. Musicon works on the same principle as a labyrinth or music box - simple mechanisms trigger sounds. The device inspires, fascinates with movement and sound, and above all with an infinite number of possibilities. Children acquire skills exactly as they learn to speak - they don't need to know the definitions and principles to code, design or compose. Musicon releases children's curiosity and creativity, using the most universal language - music.

The purpose of AEROSIZE sp.z o.o. project is to develop emergency cushions used during avalanche danger, more convenient to use, with a compact design. Avalanche pillows have been produced by the winter mountain market giants for many years. Design developed by AEROSIZE sp.z o.o. is characterized by innovative solutions: among others, the hybrid design of the cushion itself, which has significantly reduced the pumping system, giving for the first time the possibility of placing a complete avalanche cushion system not in the backpack, but in a special small vest-harness reminiscent of automatic sailing vests.

Wroclaw based company BioEngineering.pl sp.z o.o. as part of a project co-financed by the National Center for Research and Development, develops a hand prosthesis controlled by biological signals related to muscle vibration. The prosthesis reflects the kinematic processes of the hand structure - independent control of artificial fingers allows you to perform complex grip movements. The solution is characterized by high practicality and ease of use, at the same time it is cheaper than similar projects prepared abroad. This allows to reduce financial barriers that often prevent amputees from using the latest solutions that can significantly improve their quality of life and facilitate their daily activities.

VIGO SYSTEMS has implemented a project involving the development of technology for manufacturing uncooled and minimally cooled (300-190K) heterostructure HgCdTe detectors optimised for every wavelength within the range of 2-16µm and characterised by high reliability and resistance to environmental exposure. The main challenge of the project was to increase the range of operating temperatures and overload resistance of the designed devices.

The multi-sensor system for detection and tracking of unmanned aerial vehicles is a project implemented by ADVANCED PROTECION SYSTEMS. As part of the project, a drone detection system, unique in the world, has been developed, which consists of three types of sensors: radar, acoustic and vision. The combination of miniaturized radar, a matrix of microphone sensors and a video camera, as well as the use of advanced data processing algorithms, ensures detection of any type of drone and thus effective protection of the indicated area.
